Like other projects by Christo and Jeanne-Claude, \u003cem data-start=\"1114\" data-end=\"1134\"\u003eSurrounded Islands\u003c\/em\u003e was financed entirely by the artists through the sale of preparatory works and received no sponsorship. These editions are available in multiple formats, including large format photographs and monumental vinyl wall installations up to approximately 20 feet, and each installation is accompanied by museum signage crediting NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale and the Christo and Jeanne Claude collection. These are not commercial or mass produced reproductions; NSU Art Museum is the sole entity authorized by the Foundation to produce these works, and the high resolution source files are not publicly available.
