Cui Jie (born 1983, Shanghai) is a Chinese contemporary painter based in Beijing who graduated from the China Academy of Art in 2006. She is known for layered, geometric paintings of Chinese cityscapes that fuse modernist architecture with motifs drawn from Bauhaus, Russian Constructivism and Japanese Metabolism, reflecting on the country's rapid urbanisation.
