Gao Zengli (born 1964, Lanzhou, Gansu) is a Chinese painter who trained at the Shandong Academy of Fine Art and at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Dividing his time between Paris and Beijing, he is known for paintings that reconstruct fragments of memory into dreamlike imagery, often incorporating historical figures as symbols rather than as portraits.
