Graham Sutherland (1903–1980) was a British painter and printmaker known for his semi-abstract landscapes, religious works, and portraits. Beginning as an etcher, he developed a distinctive style combining the Romantic landscape tradition with Surrealist elements. He served as an official war artist and later produced notable works including the Coventry Cathedral tapestry 'Christ in Glory'.
