Jennifer Guidi (born 1972, Redondo Beach, California) is an American painter based in Los Angeles. She is best known for meditative, mandala-like abstractions built from thick layers of sand, pigment and paint, into which she presses repetitive marks with a dowel. Her radiant, spiritually inflected work draws on light, landscape and metaphysical traditions.
