Joana Vasconcelos (born 1971, Paris) is a Portuguese contemporary artist known for her monumental sculptures and immersive installations that transform everyday objects and craft traditions into large-scale works. In 2012 she became the first woman to exhibit at the Palace of Versailles, and she has shown internationally, including a major retrospective at the Guggenheim Bilbao.
