Miquel Barcelo
Miquel Barceló (born 1957, Felanitx, Mallorca) is a Spanish painter, sculptor, and ceramicist, one of the most prominent artists to emerge from Spain since the Neo-Expressionist revival of the 1980s. He is known for his richly textured, materially dense canvases inspired by nature, the sea, and his time in West Africa, and for the ceramic dome of the UN Human Rights Chamber in Geneva.
