Reuven Rubin (1893–1974) was a Romanian-born Israeli painter whose work helped shape the visual identity of early Israeli art. Born in Galați, he settled in Mandate Palestine in 1923 and became a central figure in the Eretz-Yisrael style, depicting the region's landscape, light and cultural life. He also served as Israel's first ambassador to Romania.
