Abrazo (Medium-Size)

Translated as "Embrace," embrace means holding someone closely in one’s arms, especially as a sign of affection, all the while conveying acceptance and support willingly and enthusiastically. It involves a deep emotional bond and a desire to make the other person feel secure and loved, enacted as the most basic form of love and appreciation. In this sculpture, a man and a woman intertwine in a sublime act of love.

Carbonell's personal philosophy searched for the essence of form and the absence of detail while empowering a feeling of monumentality in his sculptures.
