Amantes (Medium-Size)

This sculpture, “Amantes,” which translates as “Lovers” in English, is a theme that Carbonell regularly portrays in his sculptures. He catches the essence of two figures, a man and a woman, without even touching each other; they express a passionate feeling of love.

Carbonell, in his personal philosophy, searched for the essence of the form and the absence of detail while empowering a feeling of monumentality to his sculptures.
