Couple in Love (Medium-Size)

In this sculpture, Carbonell expresses the metamorphosis between two lovers and the passion created as two souls become one. The two heads, in endearing placement, give form to extreme stylization without diminishing or adulterating the identity of the image or composition.

Carbonell's personal philosophy searched for the essence of form and the absence of detail while empowering a feeling of monumentality in his sculptures.
